The rock band The Deftones is based out of Sacramento, California and was formed in the late 80’s. The vocalist (and rhythm guitarist) Chino Moreno has been a leader of the band with changes in the lineup throughout the band’s history. The album Gore is the eighth studio album by The Deftones and was released with Reprise Records on April 8th, 2016. The band has been on a fall tour in 2016 that lasts through late November of 2016 and new merchandise is available through deftones.merchdirect.com. Prior to the fall 2016 tour, Chino had been working on the side project band Crosses, with music videos and performances in Los Angeles (at the Sunset Strip Music Festival and more). The Deftones performed at the Cuthbert Amphitheater on August 27th, 2016 with Yelawolf and Sister Crayon, which provided high energy live music. Many of the ticket buyers had a choice of a physical copy of the Gore album or a download with the ticket price in Oregon (parking included).
