So-Cal Rocket Dynamics: “We’ve just started recording our third album (no title yet) with producer Matt Thorne. Bobby has written a bunch of new songs and Matt is struggling to catch up. Too Bad She Won’t Live kind of defined the band’s current sound, and we’re trying to expand upon that a bit on this next record. Matt has been prepping a bunch of different guitars with the intent of recording a wider variety of guitar tones this time beyond his classic Gretsch sound.”

“Earlier this year we played the Viva Las Vegas show for the first time. We’re looking for a satellite show to play during VLV next April. We’re playing a hot rod show in Bakersfield CA this coming Saturday Oct. 3, and a punk club in Los Angeles the following day.”

“We have a big show coming up in November in Thousand Oaks which we’re sponsoring. It’s called the Rocketbilly Jubilee and we’re planning to make it kind of a mini Viva Las Vegas with bands (The Delta Bombers are headlining) burlesque dancers, a pin-up contest, vintage clothing vendors, a car show and more.”

“Our next video shoot is coming up in early October, when we’ll begin shooting a horror-themed production for the song, “Never Gonna Die.”
