Guest Post by Rabid Young:
“Las Vegas based Rabid Young started in 2014 by multi-instrumentalist/songwriter Eric Rickey. Members of the band have toured nationally and internationally with bands like The Killers and Big Talk. Their debut EP was released in October 2015 to great reviews and they began playing live immediately in Las Vegas and LA.

The band just released a music video for “Beautiful Things” directed by Michael Tushaus. It features use of an effect called “cinemagraphing” where part of the frame is a still image with other elements moving. The song was inspired by a line from the film “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty”. Loosely speaking, the sentiment for the song being that society rewards things that by outward appearance alone might seem worthy of attention and adoration, but often the most interesting and worthwhile things in life often go unnoticed.

They are in the studio right now working on new material and collaborating with other songwriters and producers and is set to release new songs sometime in the next 6 months, with a single due at the beginning of summer. Rabid Young will tour the southwest and west coast starting in May and the Midwest/Texas in late summer.”
