Iggy Pop – New Music
Iggy Pop began his music career in Michigan by first performing as a drummer in various bands in the 1960’s and moved on to a lead vocals position with the band The Stooges through the early 70’s. By 1980, Iggy had released three solo albums and almost 40 years later, he released the album Post Pop Depression on March 28th, 2016. The album was produced by Josh Homme (Queens of the Stone Age) and was recorded in Joshua Tree and Burbank, California in early 2015. The album consists of nine original tracks and was released with Loma Vista Recordings. The Post Pop Depression Tour began on March 28th, 2016 in Seattle and has 13 total stops. The guest that will be on tour with Iggy is Noveller (solo project of Brooklyn-based guitarist and filmmaker Sarah Lipstate).
