G-Eazy (Oakland, CA based hip-hop artist) released his debut LP The Epidemic in 2010 and five years later, his 4th studio album titled When It’s Dark Out was released on December 4th, 2015. G-Eazy was accompanied on tour by New York based hip hop artist A$AP Ferg, which started on January 6th, 2016 in Portland, OR at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum. This is the frist stop in a 45 tour date that goes to major cities. Marc E Bassy and Nef The Pharaoh will also be part of the tour. The concert in Portland began with the song “Random” and had a street set-up background with a drummer on the top left of the “roof” of the set and the electronics coordinator on the top right of the set. G-Eazy worked the crowd and the whole stage with his energy from the latest release and provided a very fresh, intense sound.
A$AP Ferg is from the block in Harlem known as “Hungry Ham” (Hamilton Heights) and will be performing tracks off his A$AP Worldwide released mixtape Trap Lord. He is also dropping a new album Always Strive And Prosper in 2016, release date to be announced. He is a member of the A$AP Mob collective and since his teenage years, A$AP Rocky was an encouraging force for him to get behind the mic. A$AP Ferg will be performing on tour with G-Eazy through February 11th, where his final tour date on the When It’s Dark Out tour is scheduled to take place at the Bill Graham Civi Auditorium in San Francisco, CA.
